Teddy Bear reached the 5 month mark last week. He's getting bigger, stronger and is as pleasant as ever. I will say though, he has discovered his voice more and is figuring out how to make his presence known.
He is grasping toys better and has even started complaining if he drops one that he's interested in chewing on. Sophie the giraffe is becoming a favorite, but really, he enjoys anything he can fit his mouth on.
He loves his toes, fingers (any fingers), siblings that will entertain him and being sung to. He seems to be taking a shine to toy cars already and thinks peek-a-boo is a laugh out loud riot.
He is very close to sitting on his own and just today he started rolling over to his tummy. He's a little later on that than his siblings, but he also has more padding.
I tried him on rice cereal recently. The first time, mixed with formula, he rejected it. Today, mixed with water, he was way more into it. He's starting to show a lot of interest in the food we are eating.
After comparing photos with his brother and sister, I discovered that he looks way more like Jellybean, at the same age, than previously thought. It's so fun to see how much he resembles Buddy and Jellybean, but really he is his own little person.
I'd like to say that he's sleeping through the night. No luck on that, but he is doing better. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. Someday, I'll manage to sleep more than 3 or 4 hours in at a time.
I already can't believe how much he's changed in just 5 months!
Have a Happy Day!
